About Healthy Living Chiropractic, LLC.
Dr. Darrin Wascher has been practicing locally since 1993. He is originally from the Williamsport area and comes from a family of Chiropractors. Dr. Wascher graduated from Williamsport High School and attended Williamsport Area Community College before attending and graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1991. He worked in Lebanon, Pennsylvania at Jenkins Chiropractic before returning to the area and opening his own practice. He is happily married to Dina Palmer-Wascher and is a proud Father and Grandfather.
In addition to the education received in school and clinic, Chiropractors are required to have a minimum of 12 hours per year in continuing education (C.E.). This allows them to maintain the Chiropractic licensure and stay current. However, the majority of Chiropractic Doctors seeks and completes many times the required continuing education. This C.E. often comes in the form of weekend seminars/lectures with a “hands on” portion. The C.E. does not include the reading and research from endless sources they do in their own time. Chiropractic is one of the fastest growing subjects of study today. People now more than ever are turning to a more holistic and natural approach to healthcare. We as a population have become weary of being drugged and operated upon in the event of disease. We may now look to a future of prevention and preservation of health with Chiropractic and its lifestyle. Chiropractic as we know it today has been thriving since 1895, though the Egyptians were adjusting/manipulating each other around 2300 b.c. Still with the length of time we have understood the necessity of Chiropractic care, there is still much to learn.
